At the Charthouse restaurant, Dingle, Co. Kerry.

The Charthouse restaurant is consistently commended and featured in all major guides and awards. It has been recommended as a Bib Gourmand restaurant, is regularly highlighted in the Bridgestone and Georgina Campbell’s Jameson guide books. At the recent Food and Wine Awards, it was highly commended for service and for best Munster restaurant. From it’s opening in 1997, Annascaul Black Pudding has consistently featured as one of its patrons favourite starters. The menu changes on average five times a year. Because of customer demand Annascaul Black Pudding is the only dish that does not change.

Annascaul Black Pudding is topped with chutney, wrapped in filo pastry and served with a jus. Lemongrass or rosemary jus work very well with this dish.
