The Charthouse restaurant is consistently commended and featured in all major guides and awards.  From it’s opening in 1997, Annascaul Black Pudding has consistently featured as one of its patrons favourite starters. The menu changes on average five times a year. Because of customer demand Annascaul Black Pudding is the only dish that does not change.

Annascaul Black Pudding has been served topped with chutney, wrapped in filo pastry and served with a jus. Lemongrass or rosemary jus work very well with this dish as has a delicious hollandaise sauce. It has been served as a Crisp Annascaul black pudding hash, topped with soft poached free range egg and wholegrain mustard cream.

Currently it is served as:

Annascaul Black Pudding, pear and lime chutney, wrapped in filo, oven baked, Kaffir Lime Leaf Jus.
